The Res Novae Academy Flex Program is a private school enrollment option for families who desire to educate their children at home while remaining enrolled in an established, fully accredited private school.

The Flex Program operates similarly to what is commonly referred to as an “umbrella” or “cover” school; however, Res Novae Academy provides substantially more structure, oversight, and academic guidance than a documentation-only model.

Flex families retain day-to-day responsibility for instruction while receiving:

• Access to RNA’s structured core curriculum 
• Academic oversight and accountability 
• Enrollment documentation 
• Report cards and transcripts (when requirements are met) 
• Community access (when available)
   

This program is designed for families who:

• Want to homeschool independently 
• Prefer not to participate in teacher-led on-site or virtual classes 
• Desire academic structure and accountability 
• Want legitimate private school enrollment documentation 
• Are prepared to actively oversee their child’s education
   

Our on-site or virtual programs are not the right fit for every family — and that’s fine.

Some families need flexibility due to work schedules, travel, special circumstances, or simply because they prefer leading instruction at home. Others want the independence of homeschooling but still value structure, accountability, and enrollment in a recognized private school.

That is where our Flex Program fits.

Unlike documentation-only cover schools, Res Novae Academy provides:

• Access to our Core Subjects Curriculum (36 weeks of structured learning)
   
• Weekly assignments through our online LMS 
• Literature selections and novel studies 
• Enrollment documentation
• Mid-year and end-of-year report cards (when requirements are met) 
• Transcript services for high school students 
• Access to community activities (when available) 
• Family support and academic guidance
   

• $150 Enrollment Fee  
• $550 Tuition per student per year 
• $150 Annual Testing Fee per student 
• Optional: MindPrint Cognitive Assessment
   

Choose Act: Families utilizing homeschool school choice funding may use funds toward the Flex Program under the homeschool category.

Students utilizing the private school funding category must enroll in the on-site or virtual program.
